Did you know Hillary Clinton had a book? We didn’t either…
Hillary released her new book this month, and if sales figures are any indication, her latest release has proven to be slightly less popular than night-time clown sightings.
Titled Stronger Together, the book sold a meager 2,912 copies in its first week, the New York Times is reporting, even though the candidate herself has been promoting it and carrying it around as a prop to showcase to anyone within earshot.
With first-week sales typically accounting for about one third of all book sales, the book — which according to its authors lays out their vision for America — is destined for a total sales mark south of 10,000 total copies, a disastrous figure given Clinton’s current notoriety and prominence on the national stage.
