At a pre-Emmys party, actor Tom Arnold and producer Mark Burnett allegedly got into an altercation that led Arnold to file charges against Burnett with the LAPD.

Tom Arnold is claiming that at Jeffrey Katzenberg’s Night Before The Emmy’s Party, Burnett attacked and choked him due to his search for anti-Trump tapes.

Arnold said in a Tweet: "Sitting in West LAPD filing charges against your best bud Apprentice Outtakes Mark Burnett who lost his mind, attacted & chocked me last nite at Katzenberg’s Night Before The Emmy’s Party. Last fight I got into there was with Harvey Weinstein. Mark Burnett is scared:) #TrumpTapes"

However, Mark Burnett's wife, Roma Downey, disputed the claim that her husband attacked Arnold. TMZ is also reporting that Arnold charged at Burnett and Downey, and ripped a necklace off of Burnett, who then pushed him away.

Downey Tweeted a photo of her bruised hand and said "Got this bruise tonight when Tom Arnold tried to ambush my husband Mark and me at a charity event. Is your TV show worth it Tom? Please stop"

According to Downey, the event actually occured when Tom Arnold confronted her husband regarding secret tapes Burnett has from his work on The Apprentice. The tapes allegedly show President Trump making racist comments during the filming of the show. Although President Trump and Mark Burnett both state the tapes don't exist, Tom Arnold has been persistent in his search.

At the Television Critics Association's Summer Press Tour in July, Arnold said “I am going to keep hammering Mark Burnett until he shows America [the tapes]."

In fact, Arnold is in a new show titled "The Hunt for the Trump Tapes" that documents his search for the tape that may not even exist. Whether or not Arnold initiated the confrontation, the timing seems very convenient for him since the show premieres on Viceland tonight.
