Democrats and extreme environmentalists' have constantly claimed the world will soon end over climate changes on Earth. Recently we have witnessed AOC roll out her absurd Green New Deal, and now we must introduce Beto O’Rourke, and his asinine $5 trillion climate change agenda. Calling global warming the “greatest threat we face” as humans.
The Democratic presidential candidate is asking for $5 trillion over a ten year span; specifically focusing on advancing renewable energy, infrastructures, affordable living and other government programs intended to subsidize American households. Via the Daily Caller.
According to O’Rourke’s climate plan, they aim to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, notching the halfway mark by 2030 through “legally enforceable standards.” Via the Daily Caller.
O’Rourke and his team, intend to use “the full force of our democracy” in the name of slashing emissions and boosting our economy. According to CNN, O’Rourke announced his climate change agenda with a video in the woods of Yosemite, while meeting with “climate scientists.”
"Climate change is the greatest threat we face. And we won't solve it with half measures or half the country. It will take all of us. That’s why I just announced an historic, ambitious plan to meet this challenge and invest in our communities." O’Rourke tweeted.
The $5 trillion cost of Beto’s new climate agenda would be leveraged with $1.5 trillion in official government spending. The amount in spending would be specifally paid for by successful corporations, the wealthy owing “their fair share,” and eliminating “tax breaks” for fossil fuel companies. Via the Daily Caller.
The climate plan would enforce executive orders and other regulations intended to help lower greenhouse gas emissions. Within O’Rourkes agenda, he plans on rejoining the Paris climate accord, this comes after President Trump announced the U.S. will be withdrawing from the accord next year.
O’Rourke’s proposed executive actions include banning, natural gas, new coal and oil extraction leases on federal lands. Beto's intentions are supposedly focused on increasing renewable energy on public lands, and making more land areas of limits for development. Protecting and expanding national parks and monument areas throughout the U.S. Via the Daily Caller.
“We have one last chance to unleash the ingenuity and political will of hundreds of millions of Americans to meet this moment before it’s too late.” O’Rourke claimed during his climate announcement.
