President Donald Trump and his administration are reportedly on track to resume plans to apprehend, arrest and deport thousands of illegal immigrants who skipped town and ignored their mandatory court dates. Plans for the nationwide raids were first introduced by President Trump back in June, but was delayed by the inevitable Democrat red tape…
President Trump’s plan to deport “millions” of illegal aliens was postponed after allowing time for negotiation options with congressional Democrats, on solutions to the ongoing border and immigration crisis. After no agreements could be reached, President Trump and his administration became ready to renew their original ICE raid operation. Via the Daily Wire.
“These are people where we have their papers, we’ve gone through the court system. [The deportations will] be starting fairly soon, but I don’t call them raids. We’re removing people that have come — all of these people over the years — that have come in illegally. We are removing them and bringing them back into their country,” President Trump said on July 5.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is reportedly planning on conducting hundreds of swift raids on Sunday, specifically targeting at least 2,000 illegal immigrants trespassing in the United States. These illegal aliens targeted in ICE’s raids, could possibly “pose a threat to national security, public safety and border security." Via the Daily Caller.
According to Homeland Security officials, Sunday’s scheduled ICE raids will concentrate most of their man power in large targeted U.S. cities. Some of these targeted cities include; Miami, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles and Houston.
“They’re ready to just perform their mission, which is to go and find and detain and then deport the approximately one million people who have final removal orders,” said the director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Ken Cuccinelli.
"As always, ICE prioritizes the arrest and removal of unlawfully present aliens who pose a threat to national security, public safety and border security," said an ICE official. The Daily Wire reports, immigrant family members and other un-targeted illegals caught in the raids, will also be rounded up by ICE agents. "However, all of those in violation of the immigration laws may be subject to immigration arrest, detention and – if found removable by final order – removal from the United States."
The ICE raids are estimated to operate for multiple days, including plans for “collateral” deportations, meaning, apprehending illegals who were originally not planned ICE targets, but caught during the raid. Apprehended illegal families will be taken to detention centers located in Pennsylvania and parts of Texas, due to large apprehension numbers, some may be placed in hotel rooms. Via the Daily Wire.
President Trump remains persistent, providing the needed pressure to help end this longstanding and dangerous immigration and border crisis. His focus remains in deporting as many illegal immigrants as soon as possible.
