According to the Daily Caller, Graham accused the Trump administration of “shamelessly abandoning” U.S. Kurdish allies in allocated military sectors. Sen. Graham continued to claim that Trump’s decisions would potentially lead to the “reemergence of ISIS” forces.

The South Carolina Senator joined the cast of Fox & Friends on Monday, specifically criticizing Trump’s military decisions in Syria. Graham continues to claim the U.S. vacuum in the region will lead to the re-emergence of ISIS forces. Via the Daily Caller.
“If I’m an ISIS fighter I have got a second lease on life,” Graham said at the time. “So to those who think ISIS has been defeated, you will soon see. And to Turkey, you’ve destroyed the relationship, what little you had, with the U.S. Congress, and I will do everything I can to sanction Turkey’s military and their economy if they step one foot into Syria.”

Turkey officially began launching military attacks against the Kurds on Wednesday morning. Turkey currently maintains that the Kurds are firmly considered as dangerous terrorists, although Kurdish troops have fought alongside U.S. forces to eradicate ISIS fighters in the region.
