CPAC 2018 is here!

The American Conservative Union has released their full agenda for CPAC. Although it technically opens today, tomorrow (Thursday, February 22) is when it will kick into full gear.

After over a year of President Trump leading the nation, and pushing his conservative agenda, we are expecting an exciting, action-packed CPAC! We wanted to highlight some of the speakers and events to look out for while at CPAC this year.

Also, if you’re at CPAC this year, be sure to swing by and see us at booth #405 in the main hub!

Both President Trump and Vice President Pence will return to the CPAC stage this year. Vice President Pence will be one of the first speakers of the conference, kicking things off at 10:35 AM on Thursday. On Friday at 10:05 AM President Trump will return to the stage in a highly anticipated sequel to last year’s speech. If these are anything like last year, make sure to line up early, or you can expect to be turned away from a jam-packed conference hall.

If you do show up early on Friday, you’ll be able to watch former Rep. Bob Beauprez will host a conversation with Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke and Secretary of the Interior Rick Perry. Although the specific topic is not available yet, one would predict it will be related to the balance between improving energy independence while maintaining the beauty of our National Parks.

Other key speakers include Ben Shapiro of The Daily Wire on Thursday at 3:30 PM. Former Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke will be speaking on law and border security at 11:15 AM on Friday. On Saturday at 10:55 AM, Rob O’Neill, the Navy SEAL who shot Osama bin Laden will speak on the main stage.

There will be tons of other fantastic speakers ranging from Senators and Ambassadors to political activists and TV hosts.

Key Events

One of the most popular events of CPAC is the job and internship fair on Saturday at 10 AM. A lot of college students come to CPAC to network, and learn more about the conservative movement. This is one of the best places to find a summer internship or a job after graduation. Make sure to stop by!

The headlining event, the Ronald Reagan Dinner and Dessert Reception, takes place Friday night at 7:00 PM. The dinner this year is headlined by Judge Jeanine Pirro, and will also feature EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt. The event requires tickets, but every year it’s the place to be!
