  • Mueller strikes with first charges – The Hill
    • Yesterday, special counsel Robert Mueller handed down the first charges in his investigation against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, former aide Richard Gates, and former aide George Papadopoulos. Manafort and Gates have pleaded not guilty to all charges, while Papadopoulos has pleaded guilty to lying to federal investigators. The charges against Manafort and Gates are from their work lobbying for Russian interests prior to ever working with the Trump campaign.




  • Lindsey Graham: There ‘will be holy hell to pay’ if Trump fires Mueller – Fox News
    • Lindsey Graham, and others on Capitol Hill, are concerned about the possibility of President Trump firing special counsel Mueller after charges were filed against some Trump campaign staff. There has been no indication from the White House that they are actually considering that move yet.


  • Judge halts Trump’s transgender troop ban – The Washington Times
    • A federal judge struck down President Trump’s transgender troop ban saying “all of the reasons proffered by the president for excluding transgender individuals from the military in this case were not merely unsupported, but were actually contradicted by the studies, conclusions and judgment of the military itself.”
