  • After strike on Syria, Congress to debate presidential war powers – The Washington Times
    • President Trump over the weekend fired missiles at various sites in Syria in response to their recent use of chemical weapons. He claimed the right to do so as commander-in-chief because the strike was “in the vital national security” interests of the U.S. However, Congress is expected to discuss his war powers in response to this move.
